Deja Vu all over again

From the assault on Maine:

Smart, aboard Revenge; Dacres, aboard Edgar (89); Kingcome, aboard Sutlej (51); and Cochrane, aboard Warrior (40); much less Paulet, out of his element aboard the Admiralty transport Himalaya (6), were all eager to get to grips with the Americans...

As it happens, about the only thing that is "out of his element" about Paulet is that he is not on precisely the same transport as in the Crimea.

Paulet was present at the Eupatoria landing as part of the Cavalry Division, as was the Himalaya, but it is likely Paulet was with HQ Cavalry Division onboard the Simla - a transport which landed essentially right next to the Himalaya and as part of the same landing wave.

By any reasonable measure, Paulet is an old hand at this.

He's in good company, too - of the eight foot battalions listed as making a landing, three were at Eupatoria - the 1/SFG, 1/Rifles and 63rd. (Of course, in a realistic TL all these troops would have long since passed into Canada.)
